Fecal Calprotectin Concentrations in Cats with Chronic Enteropathies
These findings suggest that fecal calprotectin may have utility as a clinical biomarker for feline chronic enteropathies. It further supports the role of calprotectin in the pathogenesis of the spectrum of feline chronic enteropathies, which includes chronic inflammatory enteropathies (IBD) and small-cell intestinal lymphoma.
